Erica Lloyd is an associate in the Jackson office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice.
Erica represents clients regarding cybersecurity incidents as part of a team of attorneys who provide 24/7 breach response services for companies. She advises and guides clients through the critical first steps in responding to breaches that may pose risks of operational disruption, sensitive data release and/or reputational consequences. Erica also provides counsel pertaining to data privacy.
In addition, Erica helps clients respond to security incidents, comply with numerous data privacy and security requirements, and counsels companies, including management teams and boards of directors, in response to security incidents and data breach investigations involving malware, network intrusion, inadvertent disclosure and ransomware.
Erica also has significant experience in employment and labor law, defending public and private employers in litigation related to employment discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, constitutional law and civil rights claims. Erica also has experience in general liability defense, including premises liability, product liability, bad faith, coverage disputes and uninsured motorist/underinsured motorist claims.
